How long will an un-opened bottle of Absinthe last on the shelf?!

Question:

How long will an un-opened bottle of Absinthe last on the shelf?

I was given a bottle of absinthe for Xmas last year. It sits unopened in the liquor cabinet. Will it improve with age or is it perishable?

Answers:
According to what I found online, as long as it is unopened, it's fine for at least a couple of years.

I've never heard of it imprioving with age, but as it is an alcohol it will not go bad, especially since it hasnt been opened yet. Once you open it just make sure the lid is on tight again when done and it should be fine

A few years anyway

it will last until you drink it.
