What are good brands of glogg(sp) wine?!


Question: For it I would use any full bodied red like a Cabernet, Zinfendel, Merlot even an American burgundy, for spices the Swedish people use coriander seed, fennel seed, cardamon pods, cinnimon sticks and a couple of citrus peels.

What I do it buy a package of cheesecloth from the Dollar store, make up a tea bag like sachet, then add it to a pot with 2 cups of water and then 1/2 cup of sugar and make syrup, when I warm the wines, I use both red and a sweet one (port or sherry) dark beer (a brown ale or porter)and 7 Up, I add the spiced syrup to the warmed wines and beer then the 7UP when it in the warming pot or bowl
