I wish I could have met the man, his wealth of beer knowledge will be hard to match, and greatly missed. I have yet to read all of his books, but I'm working on it.

Glad to see that a couple others 'get it' also.
The Beer Hunter was a true inspiration and he will forever be missed.
I remember countless reviews of his and upon first discovering better beer in late 1999, it was often Mr. Jackson's recommendations that led the way.
For this I will forever be thankful.

Sad to see all those answers. But I guess that is the way our society leans. It was a sad day when the Beer Hunter died. One of the greatest Beer Writers ever.
