Is .08 % (referring to blood alcohol content) the same as saying 8%? I'm confused! For ex. 0.03 is 3%..Help!!

Question: For my driving class

Answers: For my driving class

No, 0.08 is NOT the same in BAC levels. It means that only 0.08 % of your blood is alcohol. If it were actually 8% youd be dead.

No. That would still be 8 one hundredths of a percent. If your blood were 8 percent alcohol, you would be dead and pickled.

Once again, ABV (alcohol by volume) is NOT proof alcohol. 8% does not equal 16 proof because 16 proof does not exist.

.08 is eight one hundredths not 8 percent...look at your decimal point honey...second digit after point is hundereds first is tenths third is thousands. if you had an 8 percent alcohol level in your blood you would be dead....

Not even close to the same thing. 8% is 100 times greater than .08%. Has nothing to do with driving class but basic math. A person would be dead of alchohol poisoning long before they reached 8% BAC. As a cop the highest BAC I ever saw was .42 and he could't walk or talk.

YALL ARE DRINKNG FOR DRIVING CLASS
DAMN WHERE DO I SIGN UP, SOUNDS LIKE A BLAST

yes, but 8% alcohol is 16 proof
