It is safe to drink a flaming shot, the flame will go out once in your mouth and will not burn or blister you. You will feel warmth and that's it. Another good flaming shot is called the lemon drop. There are many versions of this, you must ask specifically for a flaming lemon drop. Seuss Juice (just like Dr. Seuss the kids book author) and a remember me not are other shots that are different than what you expect like the chocolate cake shot. Party on!

Flaming Dr. Pepper

Yes, flaming drinks are safe to drink, but be careful if the party is very rowdy.

Here's a recipe for the Flaming Bob Marley: http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink7707.htm...

The dangers of such a shot as this is that if you spill the flaming liquid will catch to your face. This is a very horrifying and I imagine quite painful, I have never had it happen to me but it happened to someone when I was with them, it is honestly a horrible thing to see, sorry for the buzzkill, it's just one of the biggest dangers with this. If I do suggest I would suggest you try sambuca flaming

sambucca wth a coffee bean in the bottom of the shot glass is great......as with all "flaming" drinks close your mouth before you swallow......lol....ensures the flame is out before it goes down your throat...... if you are really really brave...lol...you can take the shot of sambucca(unburned) and hold it in your mouth...swish it around to coat the inside of your mouth.....tilt your head back and open your mouth and have a friend(make sure it is a true friend...lol) and have htem lower a lit match to your mouth and it will light....close your mouth and swallow....its pretty impressive and has a great warm feeling......enjoy

No danger if you do it right. And Absynthe, when served correctly is never a flaming shot.

my fav shot is a butterball- equal part bailey's and butterscotch liquor its def not wat u expect! good flaming shot is everclear- put have a strong chaser handy like pineapple juice and only do one or 2- its all you'll need! Everclear is wicked stuff!

Drinking/eating anything that's burning...I wouldn't recommend...However, a flaming Dr. Pepper (drop a shot glass of amaretto topped with a 1/4 shot of 151 lit on fire into 4 oz beer ((Coors light seems to taste the best for some reason))) and you're in for a treat.

The submerged shot glass will extinguish the flame...A cool trick is for the bartender to take a small taste of 151 and blow it on the prepared drinks while lighting a match/lighter to ignite the flame...burning off the excess alcohol in the 151 is essential for the proper flavor...

As FOR THE CHOCOLATE CAKE SHOT...1 PART VANILLA VODKA MIXED WITH 1 PART FRANGELLICO (In the aunt Jamima looking bottle)...tastes just like German chocolate cake...mmmmmm

Should be pretty safe if you don't spill it on your self or facial hair! Bacardi 151 is a good burner.

I serve flaming shots at the bar I work at, and I always suggest they blow it out right before taking the shot. All too often I see some drunk guy spill some of the shot and his shirt catches on fire or he burns his lip. But they are very good. The shot most in demand where I work is Fire & Ice
