Baileys, vodka, and kahlua = Mudslide! Supposed to taste like a chocolate milkshake.
You can use those 3 ingredients in a lot of different really popular ways: (Trust me, as a cocktail waitress in a casino, I get a LOT of requests for these).
Vodka, Kahlua, Cream= White Russian
Vodka & Kahlua = Black Russian
Kahluah & Cream= well, Kahlua and cream
Kahlua & Coffee, Baileys & Coffee, Bailey's & Cocoa
Vodka mixes well with lots of things: tonic or soda, cranberry, OJ, grapefruit, tomato, or just on the rocks with olives, provided you've got a good brand (I like Grey Goose).
Rum is very versatile, too. It can be mixed with Coke, 7up, fruit juices.
Women like Malibu Coconut Rum, also. Great with pineapple or orange juice, Coke or 7up, fruit punch. OR, something really fun & yummy: Malibu and Slushee! Who cares what flavor slushee, but I like the blue ones.
Don't forget Limes, Lemons, Cherries & Whipped Cream! Good luck!
