What can you tell me about this wine?!
I would greatly appreciate any thing you can tell about this wine.
Answers: I received a bottle of wine as a gift. The label is in Spanish and I know absolutely nothing about the wine. The label has "VINA CAROSSA" in big letters and then "vino tinto" underneath in smaller letters. The fine print at the bottom is "Embotellado por UCSA, R.E. 5516-B-08770-ESPANA" "Vino de mesa".

It is a inexpensive brand of Spanish wine.
It is a blend, mostly of the great Spanish Tempranillo variety.
Vino de Mesa - means Table Wine, which means that it is not a quality wine, that just means it doesn't meet any of the higher classification re varieties or regions, doesn't necessarily mean that it not a good wine. In this case, from thebottling info its probably wine brought from wineries all over Spain and blended to the brands standard.
By the way, many thanks for giving all the info on the label, so many people here ask questions about wine without giving that info.
Vina Carossa is marketed as a "value" wine which first began bottling in the 1980's. It is made in Northern Spain, and while not the highest quality of wine is still very fine. Vina Carossa is of course the name, Vino Tinto signifies it's red wine, and the rest tells you that it met bottling regulations etcetera.
Personally, I've had Vina Carossa and it is a decent wine - nothing amazing, but in my experience , most people can't tell the difference between bad wine, decent wine, and amazing wine, so don't worry :)
It is a Tempranillo blend. So, you can drink it with just about anything. It should be a soft, smooth, dry, medium body red.
