Will Wine get DUI?!

Question: How many glasses of wine will make you reach the limit in the breathylzer (however you spell that)?

Answers: How many glasses of wine will make you reach the limit in the breathylzer (however you spell that)?

The basic formula to follow is one 12oz. beer = one 4 oz. glass of wine = one 1 oz. shot of 80 proof liquor. An average sized person's BAC will go up at least .02 / drink, so I would say any more than 2 glasses (maybe 3) and you're risking blowing positive on the breathalyser.

It depends upon your weight and the alcohol content of the wine.

Depends on how big the glasses are. I would advise you not to drink anything atleast an hour before you drive though.

Be safe

There really is no specific answer to this. Wines are typically 2 to 3 times stronger than beer, read the label - it should tell you how much alcohol is in it.

However, the amount of alcohol absorbed and remaining in your bloodstream will be influenced bay many factors. ie your weight, whether you are eating food, how much water or non-alcoholic drinks you have had and your own metabolism. So exercise caution! You could run foul of the law or worse causew an accident that you and /or your family will have to live with for a long time.

depends on your body weight, gender & metabolism...

best bet - sip one glass and call it a night with ice water or soda if you are driving

OMFG!!!! I dont know!

A glass of wine is supposedly equal to one drink or 1 beer, so look on the chart for your height and weight. I have to warn you though, I think wine makes you drunk faster.

Do the smart thing and don't touch ANY alcohol before you drive.

Only if you get pulled over by a cop. Please, don't drink then drive!

You are putting more people at risk for a fatal accident. Get yourself a designated driver.

wine will get you a dui fast...it all depends on the amount you consume and the amount of time you consumed it in....weight and body metabolism plays a factor but it can take your body one to two hours (depending on the variable factors in each body) to rid one 12oz beer, 5 oz of 12 percent alcohol wine, or 1 1/2 oz 80proof 40percent alcohol such as hard liquor....my advice DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE PERIOD!
