Has anyone tried any red Bordeaux from 2005 yet?!


Question: I just tried the 2005 Chateau Caronne Ste-Gemme, and if this Cru Bourgeois is any indication of what's to come, I think we're in for a stunning vintage!

Not yet, but BIG trade tasting at the Vancouver Playhouse Wine Festival. I'm hoping for some Spectacular wines.
Looks like Italy is the feature this year; may find a few 2003 bargains. Great year for Tuscan wines.
I have been buying futures, but have only gotten one case in so far, which I have not tried.
If the prices are any indication, it should be one of the best vintages ever. I just paid $675/bottle for Lafite!
