What is your favorite micro beer mine is sam adams lager and dogfishhead 90 minute they are so good.?!

Question: First, I don't think we can consider Sam Adams a Micro anymore. We can call them a Craft brewery but I think the tem Micro is pushing it. I love the IPA's, Dogfish Head is up there along with Stone IPA, Two Hearted Ale, HopSlam, and Crooked Tree IPA. Being from Kalamazoo I am obligated to pick something from Bells as my favorite, really its hard to go wrong there as it is. Usually I would say one of the previously mentioned Bell's IPA's or Kalamazoo Stout ok or Oberon. But if I need to given one other than a Bells it would have to be Either a Dogfish head or a Stone IPA

Where is dogfish head out of? I'd like to try it! I like Geary's Hampshire and some Magic Hat brews. They are both New England brews, so I am not sure of their distribution nation-wide. You may not have had them.

There is a micro brewery in Carpenteria,California called Island Brewing Co. Fantastic, low production beer with a full line of popular styles along with their seasonal brews.Love it man!Their Hef is traditional German and its great. Maybe you can find them on the web but they are a local brewery.

Turbo Dog, from the Abita Springs brewery in LA. Smooth and flavorful.

If you like stouts, try Storm King stout from Victory brewing. Best stout I have ever had its very different from other stouts.
Another one of my favorites is Trappists Rochefort 8. Its a Belgian strong ale brewed by Trappists monks. Awesome beer that is Divinely inspired.
As far as hoppier beers I would say Burning River pale ale by Great Lakes brewing is my favorite. Give them a shot.

as psycle said, I don't really consider Sam Adams a micro brew any more. Maybe 10 years ago they were.

I like locally produced beers like the ones I find at Downtown Joe's in Napa California, Or Bear Rupublic in Healdsburg, CA.

Also Downtown Brewing Company in San Luis Obispo, CA is great.
