Well, I don't think I swore I'd never drink again. I swore that I'd never get that wasted again. I haven't. In fact, I haven't been drunk since then. Only a good buzz. Two or three beers and a mixed drink is like my unofficial limit.

Sounds like we have character issues here.
Sure, most party boys and girls go through this, in their early twenties. If you're over 30, and still puking and swearing off the drink, you might have a problem...which is not to say that you DON'T have a problem if you're still in your twenties.
Crazy behavior like binge drinking can be another (albeit unsavory) part of growing up, but the point is, at some juncture, you do grow up, and move away from that sort of behavior.
Club-rats and party people are entitled to abuse themselves...just so they let someone else drive!

I have done drunkenness but I have never done puking & hangovers so I never needed to swear not to drink.

Well when I've gotten myself throwing up drunk...I just stopped drinking that particular alcoholic drink.
Most college students have hugged the porcelain god at some point and swore off the alcohol. It only took me a couple of times to learn my limit. - My limit is 6 beers or 1 bottle of wine. After that, I will be sleeping on the bathroom floor.
