What's the deal with Gatorade Rain Cherry flavor?

I've had it before and it's my favorite but I have only been able to find it in random convenience stores. I heard it was limited edition...does anyone know what's up with this stuff???

I checked Gatorade.com and found nothing of the rain cherry
Never heard of that flavour.

Maybe it WAS a limited edition.
