Whats your favorite vodka and vodka recipe?
I dont drink vodka often so I was just wondering whats a really good vodka recipe? I've got Absolut vodka by the way.

Absolut vodka is my favourite and i have it with crandberry or I make a vodka sunrise which is orange juice and grenadine (red cordial).
I enjoy Vodka Collins: 1 oz Absolut Vodka
1/2 cup Collins Mix
1/2 cup ice
1 marachino cherry and 1 slice lime
bloody marry,,, 1/4 vodka,3/4 tomatoe juice or v8 spash or two of hot sauce,cellary stick sliced on the ends,and fresh ground black pepper..yum yum,,,,

-Absolute (kurrant if you got it)
-Cointreau
-cranberry juice
-lemon peel and juice
3 parts vodka, one-third of that amount in cointreau, just enough cranberry to make it pinkish (important), and barely a dash of lemon juice (or lime juice, your preff.) garnish with lemon peal. VERY GOOD. be careful though.

Im a bartender and I know girls love things that are sweet and go down easily.
Try a lemon drop.... a shot of vodka, some sweet and sour mix/lemonade( a few ounces for a drink, or just a splash for a shot) and about a spoonful of sugar. Shake it up and enjoy!
Or, for a easy to drink martini a pomegranate martini.
2 OZ vodka, 4 OZ pomegranate juice, and a splash of OJ.

if you only have plain vodka use a soda that has fruit flavor!
having been an absolut drinker for 20+ years, keep it in the freezer and only mix, if necessary with quality juice. avoid the fruit flavors as they tend to be less pure in flavor due to additives.
I don't like Absolut. Just my preference. I love Grey Goose and Ketel One. My fave drink is a bloody mary but I've tried many mixers and haven't found the perfect one! I order them when I go out and when I find a great one I try to figure out how to make it. I like them with great flavor and a little spicy! mmm:)
