Amaretto sours are always good. Just amaretto with sour mix. Simple, easy and tasty!
Its really a good *after dinner drink, sip it with coffee too*
yes I like Amaretto....makes wonderful and tasteful cakes and cookies too! : )
I ADORE amaretto. Di Sarrono is my absolute favorite liquor, hands down.
One of my favorite drinks is a bocce ball, although unfortunately not every bartender knows what this is, so you have to tell them. It's equal parts amaretto, orange juice, and lemon juice, with a shot of vodka and brandy; garnish with a cherry. It is AMAZING.
I second amaretto sours. Those are good too, just not as good as a bocce ball. ;)
A good party treat (or maybe for Valentine's or some other "special evening") is to take strawberries (the bigger, the better, just make sure they are small enough to fit in your mouth in one bite) and core them, fill with amaretto, and top with whipped cream; serve them in ice trays.
Amaretto is a little too sweet for my taste, although I had some yummy (yet butt kicking) drinks made with it in college a loooong time ago.
Flaming Dr. Pepper
Fill a shot glass 3/4 full with amaretto, and the other 1/4 with 151 rum. Light the thing on fire, drop it in a half pint of light beer, make sure it is out and drink the thing! Very tasty. Can you guess what it might taste like? ;)
sour goes well, any cola works too... or if your really feel fancy , throw it in some coffee... :)
