Mixed Drinks?
What are some really good fruity type mixed drinks to try (and how to make them if you know)?
I've had pina coladas and strawberry daquiris and really like both.......
Answers:
Blue Hawaiin:
1 oz light rum
1 cherry
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz cream of coconut
1 slice pineapple
Blend light rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut with one cup ice in an electric blender at high speed. Pour contents into a highball glass. Decorate with the slice of pineapple and a cherry.
Bahama Mama:
1/2 fluid ounce rum
1/2 fluid ounce coconut-flavored rum
1/2 fluid ounce grenadine syrup
1 fluid ounce orange juice
1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
1 cup crushed ice
Combine regular rum, rum with coconut flavoring, grenadine, orange juice, pineapple juice and crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend until the drink's consistency is slushy.
New Orleans Hurricane:
1/2 cup ice
2 fluid ounces light rum
2 fluid ounces passion fruit flavored syrup
1 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 ounce lime juice
1 fluid ounce rum
In a shaker, combine ice, light rum, passion fruit syrup, lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage and lime juice. Shake well and pour mixture into a Hurricane or other large specialty glass. Float the regular rum on top of the drink.

Caipirinha's
There's a ton. Sex on the beach, apple martini, mah tai, rum runner, bahama mama.... Plus there's plenty of shots to ask for- purple hooter, red snapper, pineapple upside down cake, alabama slammer. I can give you recipes for any of these if you want.
Mikes hard lemonade is great!!!
Alabama Slammers are really good. you make them by mixing amaretto (almond liqueur), Southern Comfort?, peach liqueur, orange juice and lime bar mix (just a little). Some recipes for them also have Jack Daniels and Sloe Gin.
Tequila Sunrises are easy to make. Just mix tequila and orange juice, pour into a glass and add grenadine.
A Bahama Mamma is made by blending dark rum, gold rum, light rum, Grenadine (1 dash), orange juice, pineapple juice and lime bar mix. It very good but can knock you out!
Of course if you've already tried some sluchy drinks and liked them you'd probably like other flavours too. Below is a good recipe for a peach margharita:
1 Shot Tequila
1 Shot De Kuyper Triple Sec
1 Shot Peach Schnapps
1 Shot Lime Juice
Half an Peach
0.25 Shot Sugar Syrup

INGREDIENTS
1 fluid ounce vodka
1/2 fluid ounce melon liqueur
1/2 fluid ounce raspberry flavored liqueur
1 1/2 fluid ounces pineapple juice
1 1/2 fluid ounces cranberry juice
DIRECTIONS
In a cocktail mixer full of ice, combine vodka, melon liqueur, raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. Shake vigorously and strain into glass.
1 part grey goose, 1 part peach schnapps, 1 part cranberry apple razberry juice, i made it at my house one day and its a real crowd pleaser, simple too?
