Question: What do you guys do to empty liquor bottles?? Are they broken, recycled or what??? I need empty bottles (certain ones) like Jack Daniels, Grey Goose and others for a hobby I have. I will be running out shortly. Do you guys have any advice on how I could get some??

And No i don't refill them.

My daughter's place of employment dumps them into a large recycle bin to be crushed and melted down by the recycling company.

go to local bars and restaurants..... they will probably save them for you.....

they are recycled.if you frequent a certain bar ask the bartender or manager if you could come by every week (or whenever you want) and pick some up.when i was a bartender i used to save absolut and jd bottles for a guy that made odd things from old bottles
what do you do with the bottles?just curious i made tablelamps out of my old jack daniel bottles

got to a bar and tell the owner or manager. the bar i worked at just put them in the trash

1. Go to a bar.

2. Order a drink or two. This is the key.

3. Ask the bartender what they do with the empty bottles.

4. Mention you would like them.

5. Have another drink.

As a bartender I would always get people asking for weird and obscure things. Patrons tended to get more favors then anyone else.

A lot of bars will hold onto the empty bottles for a predetermined period of time in order to keep track of how fast the bar is going through alcohol, how much should be reordered, etc. Then, the bottles get recycled.
