Why do I feel all up and about after a night of drinking?!

Question: Why do I feel all up and about after a night of drinking? There are some days when I wake up after a night of drinking of when I feel like crap with a really bad headache, but there are some days I wake up feeling really up and about. It's like as though I feel really energized and talkative, though I don't feel drunk. It just feels like I have to do something and I can't sit around, but towards the end of the day I feel really tired and exhausted. Why does drinking the night before make me feel this way sometimes?

I get this from time to time too. I don't ask why, I just see it as a victory. I strive to have a night of good old fashion drinking, and wake up re-energized the next day.

The drinks that you drink may vary and the dehydration level also varies. What makes you feel the worst is the dehydration.

I'm not sure, but that happens to me all the time.

my guess is that last night you didnt drink sweet drinks. sweet drinks with lots of sugar make you feel bad the next day because the drink is not pure alcoholy. whenn you mix sugar and alcohol, your stomach does not like it. the worst drinks for hangovers are drinks such as baileys, kahlua, rum, hypnotiq, etc. more pure drinks, such as vodka, jack daniels, or everclear are less apt to give you a bad hangover, although any alcohol can make you feel bad.
