Whats the best online bartending school?!
Also, do pick up a drink dictionary but one site that did teach a few important things was: http://totallyfreebartending.com/
Some things that a book won't tell you: Never mix a drink on the bar (the guest can get too critical,) never leave a bottle sitting on a bar and drinks with a carbonated liquid added should not be shaken. (You would never shake a can of soda/pop.)
You can kinda skip their daily process thing and just adjust the number in the url:
http://www.totallyfreebartending.com/les...
(just change the number, the lessons go up to 16)
Answers: I agree with the above answer. I don't know a single person who has a bartending certificate who has gotten a job bartending. And every bartender I know have not been to bartending school.

Buy a drink dictionary. You'll save tons of money. Bars don't care if their employees took bartending classes. They hire people who can multi-task and have great customer service skills.
