I think the answer is a little bit less complicated then your bodies chemicals changing themselves ...

Simply put, beer taps are disgusting. They can run as much as 100 feet from the refrigerated keg to the spout where you are served. Sometimes they run underground or over the ventilation systems of the a restaurant and bar. They are typically cleaned once a month or less, depending on the place. And even when the lines are cleaned, the tap head is often neglected, a key part to the cleaning process.

I would recommend making sure your drinking tap beer from a place that does a lot of tap business, so the kegs are being turned over regularly (a keg can go bad in 6 weeks when stored too long, and as little as 24 hours when stored incorrectly) and the beer is always being served to you as cold as possible. Stay away from beers that seem to be at close out prices, as they can be getting turned over by a shady manger trying to turn a profit off bad product.

Every 7 years or so our bodies go through another chemical change and it affects us in different ways. This is probably what happened to you so yes, it would be normal

Keg? Oooh. Headaches? D'oh! I don't know why that would be. Higher concentration of alcohol maybe? Or beer you're not used to? I know a lot of people who get a Heinie Headache after drinking a lot of Heineken. Same with Fosters.

Drink better beer. I find that cheap beers like Amstel and Heineken give me a splitting headache.
