Are certain foods or beverages taboo?!

Question:

Are certain foods or beverages taboo?

Answers:
Only with certain cultural and religious practices as far as I know. e.g. - Jewish people eat only kosher foods and no pork, vegetarians don't eat animal products, Mormons don't drink alcohol or coffee, and Muslims don't eat pork.

If you're planning a party or something just make sure there's a variety of foods and that they are easily identifiable, so that no one mistakenly eats something they shouldn't.

Do you mean like cat or dog?

Pork and beef are taboo to certain religions.

Different religions have different beliefs about food and alcohol. Muslims don't eat pork and don't consume alcohol. Neither do Jewish eat pork, in most cases. Others abstain from eating any meats and some don't eat shell fish. I would also have to include any food items that you or anyone is allergic to, as they can cause you to be sick or even die. In that instance that food would certainly be taboo.
