Beer: Too many to name , that's what happens when you live in a country like mine. BTW we don't consider Heineken as beer over here. If I have to give you some pointers I'd say check out such Belgian greats as Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Palm, Duvel, Delirium Tremens and many many more
I don't do mixed drinks a drink should be drank as is
Wine well I tend to label shop when I buy wine i.e. I look for a wine with an appealing yet sober label (too flashy label often means trying to catch attention for an inferior product) Then I read the taste description to see if it sounds like my kind of wine (I like robust and fuity red wines myself) Then just try
7/10-8/10 wines I try are a good choice so I figure it's a good enough system, I make not of the ones that I really like and tend to build my list of favorites from there on

Wine: Yellow Tail Cab/Shiraz blend.

Mixed: None, but two fingers of 15Y Glennmorangie Highland Scotch, neat, on occasion.

Mixed drink: currently Gin Rickey w/Tenqueray or Bombay, or a spicy Bloody Mary.
Wine: Don't drink wine too much, but a good Shiraz for red or a fruity Chardonnay for white.
