How many units of alcohol is safe for a woman to consume?!

Question:

How many units of alcohol is safe for a woman to consume?

Answers:
Safe Limits of ALCOHOL FOR WOMAN -

It is generally believed that alcohol is safe to drink at levels of up to 2-3 units per day if you are a woman. There is an increasing risk to your health if you are consistently consuming over these levels. After a period of intoxication, it is strongly advised that you avoid alcohol completely for at least 48 hours to allow time for liver damage to recover.

A UNIT OF ALCOHOL REPRESENTS:

- Half a pint of ordinary beer (not strong) or
- A pub measure of spirit or
- A normal size glass of wine.

Binge drinking, i.e. drinking a great deal in one evening or over a short period such as a weekend is regarded as particularly hazardous to health.-

how about as many as it takes to make you drunk but still able to stand up. or perhaps the exact amount that i need to get you to take your clothes off.

There is nothing called safe. One may be able to handle 20 units at a go where another will be out with just one unit.

You are drinking too much if you are
Male and your total number of units for a week is more than 35
Female and your total number of units for a week is more than 20

There are two main reasons for using these particular limits
1. You increase the chance of permanently damaging your liver
2. You are taking the risk of becoming addicted to alcohol.

You may be saying to yourself these so-called safe limits are silly because nearly everyone you know, including yourself, drinks more than the limits given. If you are saying this, then all it means is that your friends are drinking too much as well as you.
It is also essential to make clear even if your grand total is lower than the limit, this does not necessarily mean that your drinking is completely safe, and certainly does not mean that you should increase up to the limit. There is no level of drinking which is completely safe for everyone, just as there is no level, which is dangerous for everyone. For example, young people who have only just started may be less able to handle alcohol and weekly amounts even below the limits may still be too much!
The safe limit does not mean that you are free to drink it all in one night! The last point to bear in mind is that the limits of 35 units for men and 20 for women are not the levels of drinking that are recommended.
It is recommended that you drink less than this in a week. 35 and 20 units are the MAXIMUM UPPER LIMITS and SHOULD NOT BE EXCEEDED if you want to stay healthy and in work.

Two glasses of wine total 300 mils. Whisky or spirits 60 mils. bear two cans . this is standard recommended drink for females of drinking age. spartan
