Answers: Hey you guys, I'm an 18 year old girl and in college and I'm looking into being a bartender in Delaware. Is it true that you have to be 21 to be a Bartender here? Any tips and advice is greatly apreciated!

Go to a bartending school when you're old enough. I went to the International Bartending Institute about 10 years ago. Not sure if they're still around, but it only takes two weeks if your good and they help place you. Being a girl, if your hot, you can get a great bartending job and make loads of tips. You just have to deal with lots of slimeballs that will think you like them because you're serving them. But, it's still a cool job and you meet lots of interesting people besides the slime.
dont know about where u are but where im at yes u have to be 21 i would think that goes anywhere in the united states.
I don't know about delaware, but most places are 21.
If you apply at small local bars (not hoppin' nightclubs) most places will hire you with no experience. Then when you get better you can move on to the nightclubs.
