Rinsing decanters at a restaurant?!

Question: If you were dining at a fine restaurant and ordered a high end wine which required decanting, would you ask the sommelier to rinse the decanter with a small amount of the wine you are paying for, or would you ask him to first rinse the decanter with a cheaper wine from the bar before pouring your expensive wine in?
