I love wine - particularly white but I love red as well. It was the first thing I ever drank that was alcholic when I was 20. I'm 29 now and I try to have one glass a week. I stay away from beer and mixed drinks - they just give me stomachaches.

It is SLIVOVITCH, which is distilled plum wine producing a strong clear spirit with a distinctive taste. It is the national drink in Croatia (formerly Yugoslavia.) I met an old man in France who had a large mirabella plum tree with those delicious small red/yellow plums. All his crop were brewed up into wine, and the wine distilled for his "prune" home made Slivovitch. The effect of this spirit is very cosy leading to sleepiness and fabulous dreams.
