Canada Dry Distilled London Dry Gin, 90 Proof, 4/5 quart?!

Question: Do you know how old this bottle is and is it ok to drink? It looks pretty old. Thanks

Based on the volume of the bottle being labeled as 4/5 quart, this was packaged prior to the use of the Metric system for the US market (at least prior to 1978). It is probably from the 50s or 60s.

Should be OK to drink, but it was not a high quality brand in its day so expect it to go down "hot."

Get some tonic and a bunch of limes....cheers!

Alcohol does not go bad...by definition, alcohol is a PRESERVATIVE.

if it has hops, grapes, stuff like that in it...then yes -- that's the part that goes bad.

Personally, I'd rather suck on a pine tree that drink gin -- but, to each his own!
