Why dont I like dark beer?!

Question:

Why dont I like dark beer?

I'm into lager and beer like Corona. How come I don't like dark beers? Im Irish too...

Have you ever tried Modelo Especial? I'ts delicious and its got a honey aftertaste.

Answers:
First, Modelo Especial is delicious. You ancestry has nothing to do with your taste in beer. Personally, I am a great fan of dark beers (stouts). I can't stand bud, coors, miller, michelob and the like. Don't get me started about lite beers. Many of my friends think there is something wrong with me since I don't love our great domestic classics. I don't beat myself up about it, it's just my preference. Drink what you like and don't worry about the rest, just don't spill your beer.

have you tried newcastle brown ale? it's a dark beer but it's smooth with an almost nutty flavor.

i like dark beer too, but sometimes that can be too thick or bitter. this stuff, newcastle, delicious.

Darker beer tends to have a different taste. I know a lot of people who don't like dark beer but like the normal blonde beers. It's all about personal preference.

PS: My best friend is 100% Irish and can't stand beer at all LOL

haha.. I don't think being Irish has anything to do with your taste... Dark beers have a stronger taste and the ingredients (I know it is pretty obvious) are different in some. There probably is a dark beer out there that you would like... Smoked dark ales are pretty good in my opinion.. They are hard to get a hold of where I live though.

I hate beer.. I drink Rums, Vodkas, Tequilas, adn etc..

no beer though.. Why? It's all in the taste..

you just don't like the taste probably, or you haven't had any dark beer that you like yet..

Traditionally, the darkness in the beer comes from the roasted grain. This would also give it a thick, bitter, smoky taste. They probably make the beer the same but have additives to control and make a consistent dark color.
