What wine with my chicken?!

Question: I am not too familiar with wines but I am making chicken that is cooked in a semi-spicey (just a little kick) sauce. I will probably be serving greenbeans and maybe a form of potato for the side. What would be a good wine to go with the dinner? I would prefer a good white wine. I can post the chicken recipe upon request but i dont have it on hand right now. Thanks for your input!

Chardonnay, Vin Gris, or Riesling. (Riesling is a bit sweet though.)

Pinot Grigio

a white wine of some kind goes great with chicken

Vouvray, French white wine from the Loire Valley. crisp and light.

Fume Blanc
Pinot Grigio

I would tend to go with a dry white wine ... you didn't say if the sauce was a red sauce or white sauce ... it is it more on a acid based sauce (tomato), then lean towards a Zinfandel. If it's more of white or clear sauce, a dry Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio should compliment it nicely.

Since wine availability varies greatly by state, I won't recommend a particular brand name.

Buono Appetito!

For a change of pace, try a German Gewurztraminer. It has a floral aroma like Riesling but also a white-pepper spiciness.

"Semi-spicy sauce"? Tomato based?? If so, you'll want a nice red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon.

white or red... Or rose
