Goldschlager??!
Goldschlager??
I got a bottle of goldschlager for my birthday this year. It's the drink with the gold flakes in it. I looked it up on the internet and I guess a rumor about it is that the gold flakes make tiny tears in your throat and stomach, thus allowing the alcohol to enter your bloodstream faster. I'm kinda skeptical about this but I've never had it before. Do you think it's true?
Answers:
i dont think it is.. i think theyre too small and thin to be able to cut through tissue.. if anything, they just get stuck in our mucus on the way down
happy birthday

no i dont.
Happy Birthday to you!
Don't worry about silly rumors. What a gigantic lawsuit would ensue if it were true. I love Goldschlager! It's lovely with the little flakes floating around, and tastes good too. We used to serve a drink called lemon drops, but forget now, how my boyfriend did it. I believe fresh squeezed lemon and a bit of sugar on the rim...Enjoy!
Not True! I'll prove it to you...pour a shot, go ahead....
ok, now dip your finger in and get a flake on it...now feel how soft the flake is...it is the consistency of "gold leafing" less than paper thin.
Bottoms up!
It is true. Anything a little coarse can cause tiny tears in your throat. My experience with goldschlager is pretty good too. haha.. It does get to you a little faster than other liquors.
Just mix it with jager and call it a night
