What are some high alcohol % beers sold in US grocery stores?!

Question: Looking for beers that have high alcohol content, that are sold in either a common grocery store or walmart. I'm tired of all these 4.0% content beers. Where's the 6.0% - 10.0% stuff?

grocery stores and wally world are not going to carry anything that's over 6% ABV.
Sam Adams triple bock is indeed 17.5% but it is no longer made.... http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/...
the highest ABV sam adams that can be obtained reasonably and is still brewed is their double bock, which comes in at 8.8%- http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/... and their imperial pilsner http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/... , both are good (and very different from each other). there should be at least one decent beer store somewhere near you, you can check the "directory" on the above linked beer advocate site (left side bar) for a good beer store near you

Grocery stores in the usa aren't carrying the heavy duty beers my friend. The highest you'll find in some stores will be labatt blue and molson ice.

certain liqour stores though have greater variety and more of the potent stuff.

full tilt iseasily available anywhere and is 8 per-cent alcohol

pepsi

I brew my own and have created a few very potent beers. You should do the same if you really like em strong.

not sure about in grocery stores (in your area), but at a liqour store get... Steel Reserve 211, St Ides, Camo, Hurricane...
7-9.5%... cheap too!

you can try XXX it's by molson

Molson XXX

If you're tired of 4.0% beers then drink liquor. If you really want to get drunk, why drink beer? And since you're buying beer from a grocery store don't talk to me about taste. American beer tastes like crap. If you're worried about the price, there are some cheap as liquors out there. So no excuse there. If your final excuse is that you want to get drunk slowly then Hoftbrau Munchen is where it's at.
