When the bottle is on, the water cooler won't drain?
when I take it off the water drain with no problems

check the spout and rubber gaskets around it for any slimy build up this could prevent proper air circulation.
try emptying it.
Give it a good shake, it may need to burp out so it will drain.Hope that is all thats wrong...
