What do you think of this recipe for ale steamed mussels?!

Question: 2 cloves garlic, 1 large leek, kosher salt sweated in a stock pot with a little olive oil. To which I will add 1 diced tomato (seeds removed) and a 12 ounce bottle of Bell's Winter White Ale... Sediment and all.

After bring it to a simmer and steaming my mussels.

Combing 10 of the mussels (out of shell) and the above liquid in a blender and pureeing until a sauce like consistence.

Pour the sauce mixture over the remaining mussels and serve garnished with parsley.

Well, what do you think?

Hey that sound very good..I'm going to copy your recipe and make it this superbowl weekend!!

not bad

Sounds delicious, even if the beer with yeast sediment and blended tomato and mussels will smell like the panty hamper at the sorority house after a weekend of hard partying.

Sounds good, but over a bed of pasta.
