What are the best liqueurs to buy?!

Question: I want to find pints of the best and most useful liqueurs.

Answers: I want to find pints of the best and most useful liqueurs.

I will assume you do not mean "liquors" (vodka-gin-rum-tequila-whiskey) and go straight on to my list.

Triple Sec - orange liqueur; used as a mixer in a lot of drinks
Blue Curacao - orange liqueur, only it's VERY blue
Bailey's Irish Cream - for creamy drinks; good for layering
Kahlua - coffee liqueur
Chambord - raspberry liqueur
Godiva - chocolate; comes in dark, milk and white
Grand Marnier - orange cognac
Rumplemintz - peppermint schnapps
DeKuyper's Peachtree - peach schnapps
Goldschlager - cinnamon schnapps (clear w/ gold flakes)
Jagermeister - flavored w/ various herbs, mainly anise (think black licorice)

Other mixers to add to your bar that are not alcoholic but are must-haves:
Grenadine
Rose's Lime Juice
Sweet and Sour mix
Juices - orange, grapefruit, cranberry, pineapple
Sodas - Sprite, Coke, tonic, soda water

There are plenty of others out there, but I think those about cover the necessities. There are other less-expensive brands of a lot of these, but those are my suggestions for the best flavor and quality. You can research alternatives at your local package store.

Kahlua, great for boosting the chocolate flavor of anything or just adding to coffee. Also Amarett (almond), Framboise (hazelnut) and maybe a fruited brandy like apricot...love to glaze cakes with it.

Drambuie, on the rocks, works for me!!

Cointreau goes in alot...tastes delish....Chambord....do you mean liqours or liquers....now that I started writing....d'oh.

Chambord
Midori
Drambuie

This all depends on what your trying to do....

If you want to make cocktails and mixed drinks
Vodka - grey goose is really good, but svedka is a good cheap brand
Triple Sec- havn't tried alot of these, but it mixes with alot of stuff
Rum- a lil' capn' in yah never hurt anyone

Others to get might include:
Blue Curacao- makes your drinks blue! girls love it
Tequila- most people in my hometown swear by Jose
Whiskey-it might not sound like a good mixer but some of the best drinks I've ever had have been with Whiskey.
Cherry Pucker

Juices to consider:
Cranberry, Grapefruit, Apple....in order of importance

On the other hand if you just want something to drink straight...

Bourbon
Guinness
Absinthe (Yes, certain types of THE REAL STUFF are now legal in USA)

Happy Drinking!

malibu. or good old vodka

I could be wrong...but I think Framboise is a berry liqueur. However...I LOVE Frangelico which is a hazelnut liqueur that tastes great in any sort of coffee drink, or with Baileys, etc. I'm sorry I can't help more...I'm a beer drinker...lol

Cointreau is the best.

Framboise is raspberry, not hazelnut, but verrry good, as is Frangelico, a hazelnut liqueur. I notice you mentioned pints, not sure if those come in pints. My favorite new liqueur is St Germaine, an elderflower liqueur, it def is only in a big bottle, but it's delicious on it's own. Someone mentioned absinthe, I just got a bottle (PF 1901) shipped from France, verrry expensive, but cool to have something that is still under a bit of a ban, you can get Lucid and Absente in this country. (so-so) If you can find it, French Kiss is a French vanilla liqueur, it's great. Pomegranate is trendy, but reallly good. I have a thing for liqueurs, if you have any questions, you can e-mail me. :-)

which ever you like, i prefer to use kalua, or baileys irish cream.
