it is actually spelled Tsingtao and it is the most popular beer from china. if you want to pronounce it correctly (which most people don't) it's jing tao.

China supposedly but who knows where it's brewed. Many beers like Fosters and Guinness for example are contract brewed in countries closer to where they're going to end up so that they can be more fresh while still carrying the all important label of "imported".

Tsingtao is the best selling beer in China, and the best selling Chinese beer in the world. It is imported into the States by Crown Imports (same guys who own Corona, Modelo, etc.) so it's available in any market that Corona is also available... which is everywhere.
