How come when I drink alcohol, the next day it feels like I lost weight?!

Question:

How come when I drink alcohol, the next day it feels like I lost weight?

When I drink, I don't eat. each drink has a lot of calories.
by the next day, my stomach always looks thinner and it looks like on the scale that I've dropped 5 pounds.

How come alcohol contains so many calories and makes me loose not gain weight?

I was at a concert, standing, but not dancing, so I did not loose weight from physical activity

Answers:
It dehydrates you, thus taking away your water weight.

dehydration

Alcohol makes you dehydrated. You may way lose some weight but it is temporary.

it is called dehydration * alcohol does that to you and also keep in mind that you are not eating

Empty calories and dehydration. I lost 25lbs from beer alone. My kidneys hurt, but hey, I looked good. Actually, I was malnurished and ended up in AA. Good times!

You did. Alcohol is a diuretic and you lost water weight. But don't get two jazzed because the weight gain the from the carbohydrates will kick in within the next 24 hours.

it's just water weight
