As a rule, straight alcohol is fine to keep out at room temp for as long as you'd like. I would keep a cover on them just for the sake of keeping dust and other debris from getting into your sweet, sweet escape.

If you have something like Bailey's, just like the bottle says, keep it in the fridge after it's been opened. I'm not really sure how long it will last in there, as I've never had to worry about storing it for too long. Almost all cream alcohols have some ingredients that need to be kept cold after the bottle has been opened.

Obviously beer and other malt beverages (wine coolers, some premixed drinks, etc) can be kept at room temperature before they are opened. Once they are opened, try to use them up in one sitting. Don't try to reseal them and fridge them for later... nobody likes flat, moldy beer.

no only wine goes bad once opened... however it tastes better

ouy can have liquor open for years and it wont go bad
