Merlot or shiraz?!

Merlot is light and supple. Very approachable and good for a newer wine drinker to branch into red wine. The California merlots are typically fruitier than the French ones.
We drink Shiraz. It is the choice of flavor junkies everywhere. Extremely concentrated and inky it will appeal to someone who also likes strong black Jamaican coffee.
The Austrailian ones are best.

It may be a red but goes down like a white and it is only the next day that you realise.
depends on what your drinking it for, they are both easy drinking wines, I say warmer weather go with the shriaz and cooler weather or with meats have the merlot, and Im an aussie an agree we have some awesome varieties of both!
