Is it normal to throw up twice after a night of drinking?!

Question: I rarely get a hangover the next morning after a night of drinking. For some reason though, I threw up twice this morning. I had 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks, and I think about 5 shots (bday).

Jw what you think: is it normal to throw up AND is that a lot for one night?

PS. I started around 930pm and finished around 2 am

It's not normal but it's not uncommon. It depends how often & how much you drink and what you mix together. The shots probably did it but best to stick to one type of alcohol. I think most people that do get sick, do it the night of drinking but some do the next day.

Perfectly normal. Drink water and you will live.

The volume depends on your size, activity level, last time you ate and how much, so it may or may not have been too much. The vomiting is simply your body's way of rejecting what it can no longer process. Vomiting twice most likely means not all was expunged from your system the first time. Also, it can be caused by the dizziness associated with the "spinning" effect... kind of like people getting seasick.

uhmm. maybe you have a low tolerance because i was gunna say i threw up more than 2x once but i drank way more than you did soo................. i dont think its anything major

OOH bad combitation!! never mix beer and mixed drinks and shots!!! I didn that On my 21 birthday 7 years ago,,, as did everyone probley... and have never ever done it since

You mixed different alcohols, and it upset your tummy. That's not a hang-over, that is mild alcohol poisoning.

Yeah it is normal if you overdid it. Your body isn't used to drinking so much and the combination of booze didn't sit well. You will feel better tomorrow.

It is NOT normal to throw up unde4r any condition. Throwing up is your body's way of telling you that you ate something which your gastrointestinal tract had a disagreement with. So, it forces out the bad stuff via the shortest route, the way it entered. Obviously, 5 shots, 2 mixed drinks and 2 beers disagreed with you and once was not enough to get rid of it all.

Not too much maybe you mixed something bad together.

It's not normal to throw up after that level of consumption, no. I have drunk fairly heavily since my late teens, but while I have had many hangovers, I have never thrown up from even the heaviest drinking I have ever done. The only time I ever threw up after having drunk alcohol, I traced it to improperly defrosted frozen chicken meals (plus a couple of glasses of Calvados).

It sounds like you ate something that didn't agree with you.

You're new at this aren't you ? You'll have something to look forward next time.

it's normal and that is not alot for that much time
