How drunk does 1 shot of vodka get you?!

Question: 40% volume

Answers: 40% volume

Personally not very!!!, shame really! would be a really cheap night if it only took one lol! unfortunately i am able to drink like a fish and it takes a fair few!!!

Depends on your body weight and how fast your body metabolizes the alcohol.

You might feel a bit of a buzz. I wouldn't drive for at least 1 hr after drinking it.

Not at all.

I dunno man...different for everyone..not really drunk at all....if anyone can get drunk off one shot of vodka then that means they shouldn't be drinking in the first place..

~20% prob not feel that amount

Personally, not at all. For someone who is new to alcohol or has low body mass it could get them tipsy... but not drunk.

One shot of vodka is enough to get you arrested, loose your dirivers license, and pay a huge fine ($500 to $2500).

Why would you risk all of this when a glass of lemonade or a coke for $1.50 would save you all this trouble?

Assuming an shot of vodka is 45milliliter or 0.045 Liters (a jigger), and that an average human blood supply is 4.7 liters, and also assuming (incorrectly, I believe) that you have disconnected your liver, so none of the alcohol is being processed, you'd end up with a BAC of about 1% - over th elegal limit in most US jurisdictions.

Assuming, on the other hand, that you have a functioning liver, and an empty stomach, your BAC will likely top out around 0.03% or less about half an hour after consuming the vodka - wel within legal limits for adults. Since your absorption and elimination may vary from average, your mileage may vary.
