How do you make distilled water?!

Question: YOU don't make distilled water. It's illegal without a permit and the permits are all but impossible to get. Distilled water is made by evaporating the un-distilled stuff and condensing the water vapor.

Put a kettle on the stove. On the way of stream put a pot filled with ice, snow or just cold water.
Collect water flowing from bottom of this pot. It's distilled water.
Another way is to melt fresh and clean snow.
