Is there a particular way to pour a stout into a glass?!

Question: Make sure the glass is clean as possible, as left over suds from washing or something like oils will kill the head and lead to off flavors.

Hold the glass at a 45 degree angle and pour the beer while targeting the middle slope of the glass as much as possible.

At around the half way mark of the pour, get the glass to wear it's straight and not at an angle and pour the rest of the beer.

This process will normally allow for a nice sizable head, which is something you want in not only a stout, but generally speaking any type of beer.

tilt glass at a 45% angle and slowly pour.

Down the sides until the glass is 70% full then tilt it straight up and pour the remainder into the center of the glass

The most common way is to tilt the glass 30 degrees and pour the beer down the side until it edges to the 2/3 mark of the glass. At this point return the glass upright and pour directly into the middle of the glass to develop a good head on the beer. Serve and enjoy.
