Which is healthier in moderation: beer or wine?!

Question:

Which is healthier in moderation: beer or wine?

Answers:
wine

Overall, I would say both are healthier in moderation. However if I had to pick one it would be wine, due to it's higher alcohol concentration.

Anything done in moderation is good for health.

But WINE has Antioxidants known as resveratrol that are in grapes. Resveratrol lowers the "bad" LDL cholesterol, but elevates the "good" HDL cholesterol levels.

much more than in beer

come one, it is wine, but Beer is not bad for you , if you do not drink too much of it

both are good and bad for you

Wine - specifically, red wine, which is good for the heart and has anti-oxidants. Of course, it is healthful ONLY if you drink it in moderation.

Time and again I have heard that moderate alcohol consumption is good for you; light drinkers seem to outlive both teetotalers and booze-hounds.

Both in moderation, can assist in good health. And a variety I would say is the spice of life.

I'm going to defend beer on this one. If you're going to be having a couple, there plenty of good beers out in the world today that are excellent to try and widen your taste pallete. While wine does have some anti-oxidants and so on, wine has a smaller variety. Sweet to dry, Fruity to not. Beer varies from bitter to malty, light to dark, ales or stouts, light to strong, fruity, complicated... beer can compliment any occasion whereas wine can be a little trickier (and sometimes snobby).
