Can anyone suggest a real fruity wine or a fruit beer that can be purchased/shipped to Alabama?!

Question: I don't like beer at all, I don't like wine either.. (yes I know, hard to please) I am so tired of being the only one at Thanksgiving/Christmas (Whatever holiday it happens to be) that sits around with a soda. Don't get me wrong I don't want to be an alcoholic either....lol

I just want to find a GOOD and Fruity wine or beer. I don't want anything to strong in flavor. I can't stand the taste of beer, so remember this when you are making your suggestions. I just want a beer or wine that has a nice fruity flavor. Complicated enough??

Thanks in advance

Lienenkugel's Berry Wise (made in WI) is the fruitiest beer you will find that doesn't just taste like sugar.
New Glarus (also in WI) makes a limited edition beer that is mixed with either cherry or cranberry juice. Whichever you prefer. I know these are both made in WI, but the Lienies is nationally dist.
As for wine you're going to want the cheaper brands of flavored wines. Like Wild Vines, Frutezia, Arbor Mist etc.
Those are prob. your best bets for wine and beer. Other things like Boone's farm, wine coolers, Smirnoff ice etc. also are tasty but are actually malt beverages and not beer or wine. Enjoy

Hi there,

I am exactly the same way. Beer just taste disgusting and wine is too dry and acrid, even the ones that say they are sweet. What I do is make my own fruit wine at one of those, make your own wine places. They basically do it all for you and you bottle it. After the initial expense of the bottles, it works out to about $3.00 per bottle and it is sweet and delicious. It is much sweeter and fruitier than anything you can buy in the store. Try it, I think you might like it.

Cheers!

try boones farm

try wine.com, beujoulais or zinfindel(not white). good luck

you can try Sangria (its not real expensive either), you can choose from several brands and you can get it from almost any liquor store....it has a citrus fruit taste and it's not strong at all

Wine coolers, twisted smirnoff, mikes hard...

I like Chateau Ste Michelle's Riesling is tasty, and super cheap. It's a washington winery, so it's readily available here in Oregon. Not sure about Alabama. I could drink a whole bottle of this stuff because it's so good!

I really recommend you revisit beer. My guess is that you've only had mass-market beers like "Grocery-Store Lite" or "NASCAR Lager," you know, the stuff they advertise during the superbowl, etc.
REAL beer is so much more unique and flavorful than that yellow garbage.

There's a whole world of beer out there to be explored. To start, I would recommend a wheat beer. German-style Weizens and Belgian-style Witbeers are light, fruity, creamy, and altogether delicious!
You're in Alabama, so I imagine you need something nice and refreshing from the heat. Try a wheat beer to start.
The sites I listed can give you great recommendations of beers in your area, as well as great beer stores, bars, breweries, brewpubs, and homebrew stores.
I urge you to check them out. Don't give up on beer yet!

You need to purchase in state. Basically it is illegal to ship alcohol to Alabama. Check out
http://wi.shipcompliant.com/StateDetail....
it has the shipping regulations for Alabama.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings

If you can find it start with a Gewurztraminer or similar white wine that has a little residual sugar and virtually no tannins.
