it all depends on supply and demand

From the time the ingredients have been cooked the yeast added and fermentation process starts and end most beers are made now in less than 3 weeks, years ago like meat it took 28-30 days to aged it to a proper flavour.

Once it has been fermented it is filtered, some like Miller and others are cold filtered were they are siphoned off and ran through a cold filtering process like milk is when pasturized, the it is bottle, shelf life of most lagers ales and other fresh beers is 30-45 days before th live yeast still in the beer dies and causes the "skunky" aroma.

Heavily depends on the beer really... Lager's are relatively quick with a 30 day fermentation process... According to The History Channel Budweiser has figured out a way to get that down to 15.

On the other end of the spectrum lambics take from 1 to 3 years.
