What's the difference between bars, pubs and clubs?!

What's the difference between bars, pubs and clubs?


Answers:
bar - place mainly for drinking, long bar to sit at to just drink alone.

pub - small place set up as more cozy, for people, to sit, drink and chat.

club - place to dance and drink

I was going to answer but the other guy said it perfectly!

Bar - drinking - dancing
Pub - drinking , dining, games
Club - party night -drinking -dancing-hooking-up

a bar is a place to drink and listen to music every so often you might see a pool table or two

a pub is much smaller and carries more bourbon and whiskey on hand

and a club plays louder music has a lot of fruity "girlie" drinks on hand and a dance floor

all three the same depending on the age group the owner caters to

Distance???
How about the people using them (words) to be politically correct or just showing off
Let's go to the bar an shoot some pool
Oh Sweety ! lets meet at the pub
hey Bruce after golf lets hit the club
One you left out
Oh dicky !! lets hook-up at the lounge,, darling!!
