Is it normal to feel like i can't breathe after drinking 3 - 4 beers?!

Question: Every time I drink more than a couple beers, I get this suffocating feeling in my chest and it wont go away no matter how hard I breathe and no matter how long I do it. What gives?

It could be (please take me seriously) that your pants are too tight. The gasses )co2) from the carbonation in the beer build up in the abdomen, and push up and press on the lungs...causing you to feel short of breath. I know, what you are talking about...:( I have gained some weight in the last year and all I have to do is drink one beer and get short of breath until I unzip. Then....aaaahhhh!

don't drink them so fast, you are getting bloated from the beer. Beer has disolved gasses in it and as you drink, the gasses fill your stomach

You may be allergic to something in the beer.Go see a doctor about an allergy test. The last thing you need to do is die trying to have a good time. Many people are allergic to hops or barley.2 main ingredients in beer.

uhhh...no.
