Question:

Margartia recipe....for a great one! (or 12)?

bout to buy the ingredients...mix, cuervo, ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???

Answers:
I like to mix a can of frozen limeade, Grand Manier (orange liquor, it is expensive but worth it,)Tequila, squeeze 3 to 5 fresh limes and mix !! Love those Margys!!

use grand marnier, lime juice, sweet and sour mix and patron tequila, stay away from cuervo that stuff is garbage

You really should use Patron; expensive, but MUCH better tequila.

I'm a bartender. This is the recipe we use at my restaurant:

2.5 ounces of tequila
.5 ounces of Grand Marnier
3 ounces margarita mix
1/2 lime
1 lime wedge
Orange juice
Sprite
Kosher salt

Combine liquor and margarita mix. Add ice. Juice the 1/2 lime, add juice to the mixture. Squeeze the lime wedge and drop it into the mixture. Shake vigorously.

Add a splash of OJ and a splash of Sprite.

Shake again.

If you want to make it frozen, add a little more ice and put in the blender until all the big chunks are gone.

If not, simply rim glass with the salt, pour the mixture in, and enjoy!
