151 proof / dominican rep?!


Question: found a clear alcohol when i visited the Dominican republic. faintly remember a white/blue/reddy label? it was something like 70 proof. and was NOT bicardi 151. Maybe a different /local version of it? Anyone know the name? or a link to a picture of it.

Bicardi 151 is 151 proof. If your drink was from the dominican republic it was most likely a rum. If it's 70 proof it is flavored rum/or whatever liquor it might be. Bacardi Razz or Bacardi Melon could be it. I wouldn't call it a local drink by any means though.
