Price of eggs.?!


Question: How much do you pay for your eggs ?
I pay 97p for free range pack of 6 medium from asda, I was in sainsburys this morning & some MUG infront of me was paying £3.99 for a pack of 6 eggs whats that all about.

I've got three chickens which don't cost much to feed so I get mine (minimum 2, usually 3 a day) for practically nothing, and there as good as any supermarket eggs, organic or otherwise.

They weren't Cadbury's Creme Eggs by any chance were they?

what sort of eggs were those I wonder?

In central NJ, a 2-1/2 dozen container is going for $6.00 and change, what the hell laid these eggs because they sure as hell aren't golden. God Bless.

price of eggs is horrible right now....i've boycotted even buying them until they lower the price again!! the egg industry seems to go thru phases of charging higher for awhile, then the price drops again.....
i am not buying any eggs right now, but i think for a dozen
eggs at my local grocer the price is still 2.89 us dollars and
that's ridiculous!

hey i pay 169 for a pack of 6 i buy them from asda and as we know they arnt all free range so i buy the ones with omega 3 in and that are free range since i saw that programme on channel 4 i have changed my whole out look on buying fresh produce no matter what type it is. it costs more which means we have to go to work and do more hours but its worth it

I paid 85p for 6 free range eggs from asda on monday. They are locally produced ones so maybe they don't sell them in your store.

they are so expensive now if you want to get free range, i still do tho

thats hot price its unbelievable how some people will pay all i can say he has not got good housekeeping sense or more money than brains i pay £1.50 for 2 dozen at a butchers and they are fresh range the yolk is so bright orange and they are size 0 which are big, but they taste fab.

Chap just round the corner sells his for 90p for a ? doz - free-range, organically fed hens. Really nice eggs, too.

$1.20 u.s a sometime less then that when the sell comes

i live in USA and for a dozen i think its like 1.69 the last time i bought them

I have noticed the price of eggs have gone up everywhere lately
i buy the supermarkets own make but make sure they are free range

Western Canada - around $2.00 for a dozen large eggs. Organic are about double that.
