General Rule of Thumb - No

No, you are not supposed to do that with most meds.

no no

That's kind of dangerous to your kidneys, bud.

yeah. valium and three beers makes me feel like I'm melting.

No. You can have serious reactions if you do this with some medications.

No, that's very dangerous. You can't even drink while on certain medications!

no.. one time i took a vikadin and drank. i got really messed up, but not in a good way. i was throwing up like crazy and i never thrown up when i drink. the entire room was spinning. it didn't feel like it had an effect at first, but then it just hit me out of nowhere. i didnt recommend you taking medication and drinking. it was an awful experience for me. although, i heard that anti-depressants are a really good way to get the feeling without even drinking, so maybe. I've never done it though, so take this with a grain of salt.

Once I was on medication and didn't really pay attention to it, I was pretty young, about 16 probably. It was some sort of cold medication and I took my meds normally. But I went out afte school and got drunk with my friends and I was 10x more drunk then I would've been without the pills and I ended up getting really sick. So now I just refrain from drinking when I'm on those types of meds. It's not a very good idea.

not if you want to keep your liver.

No, you should not drink alcohol with meds, it can cause some bad side effects.

The reaction to some meds and alcohol is having a paralyzed throat.. do you wish you hadnt asked this question?
